And in just a blink of an eye, the 2018 Toy Mountain campaign has concluded. Thanks to your generosity, The Salvation Army and CTV team were able to surpass the 150,000 goal this year, raising a total of 152,766 toys! To celebrate this milestone and to show appreciation to our supporters, The Salvation Army Ontario Central East Division hosted their annual Toy Mountain Appreciation and Awards Dinner.

With over 150 guests in attendance, the event hall was filled with a renewed sense of festive spirit as individuals reminisced the memories of last year’s Toy Mountain campaign. Guests were also able to enjoy the beautiful acoustic sounds from guitarist Daniel Huezo as they were escorted to their seats.

Every year, the Toy Mountain team honours those who have demonstrated extraordinary support during the campaign. From toy drives to online donations, we are truly grateful to everyone who continues to help us build a mountain of toys so we can spread hope and joy during the Christmas season. Following tradition, the Toy Mountain team presented awards to outstanding supporters. Below are this year’s award recipients:
