Bright and early on Wednesday, September 5th, The Salvation Army’s Ontario Central East Division held their 18th Annual Charity Golf Classic at the scenic golf course at The Country Club in Woodbridge. As golfers arrived and finished their breakfast, they were escorted to their golf carts where a morning stretch was lead.

Following the golfer’s fun round of golf, they enjoyed a delicious lunch with special musical guests, ‘The Rolling Stronz’. During the same time, golfers also had the chance to bid on silent auction items.

This year’s golf classic raised $42,000 and it is all thanks to our golfers, sponsors, donors and volunteers who participate year after year. This year’s golf classic was extra special as for the first time, funds will go to support CTV’s Toy Mountain campaign!

A special thank you to our presenting sponsor, Davis and to all our other wonderful sponsors, Berkim Construction Inc., Scotiabank, One & All, ADD Capital Corp., RBC, CIBC Asset Management, Cool Check, Cooper Gordon, Deloitte, Krispy Kreme, Moneris, Roy Nichols, Morguard, Ward Funeral Home, and Toronto Area Ford Dealers.

Thank you once again to our generous supporters. When you give to The Salvation Army, you are giving hope and help to those in your community.
