Help Children Thrive with The Salvation Army and Miniso!

Last year, 33% of food bank clients in Ontario were children and youth. The sad reality is that thousands of children across the province live in conditions of poverty. With school starting in just a few short weeks, many families won’t be able to bare the added financial burden of purchasing new school supplies. Moreover, many don’t have the luxury of enrolling their children in after-school programs.

For the first time this year, The Salvation Army is partnering with Miniso to help children thrive this school year. From August 17th – September 16th, a portion of their sales from their 39 stores across Canada will benefit The Salvation Army’s after-school programs for youth and children.

The Salvation Army has many after-school programs for children and youth across Ontario. These programs provide them with a safe and supportive place to create positive relationships giving them a sense of belonging.
