Last year the toy drive collected 1,700 gifts in Ontario. The toy drive also runs in British Columbia, where Vinny\u2019s parents and his sisters, Pinder and Seema, live.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe were absolutely amazed at the response last year. We never expected that so many people and businesses would support us in memory of Uncle Vinny. This has\u00a0been such a healing process for Vinny\u2019s family and friends, and we are so grateful for the goodness that came out of sorrow to give kids a great Christmas,\u201d says Ontario\u00a0organizer Sandy Mann.<\/p>\n<p>Uncle Vinny loved all things Christmas: the lights, setting up and decorating the tree, shopping, wrapping, giving gifts, and spoiling his nieces and nephews during the holiday season. He enjoyed entertaining and loved to make children smile and laugh.<\/p>\n<p><img class=\"size-medium wp-image-9680 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/salvationarmy.ca\/ontario\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2022\/11\/vinny2-768x576-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Toy drive donation ideas include puzzles, kids learning toys, school and colouring supplies, backpacks, arts and crafts, books, hair dryers, makeup, jewelry, hats, gloves and scarves.\u00a0There are 16 toy drop-off locations at businesses and homes in Cambridge, Milton, Orangeville, Markham, Mississauga, and Brampton.
