This Christmas, donors across the Ontario Great Lakes Division, helped support The Salvation Army’s efforts to reduce poverty by donating more than $4 million to the annual Kettle Campaign.  These funds have been used to provide Christmas meals and toys to thousands of families and children, and will continue to help us restore hope and dignity to many more throughout the New Year that is now upon us.   The Salvation Army is incredibly grateful for the overwhelming generosity that helped us fill the kettles in 2012 and I want to say thank you to those who donated from their resources, the thousands of volunteers who manned our kettles, and the various malls, retail stores and shopping centres that welcomed us in this Christmas.  God bless you for investing in the future of vulnerable and overlooked people in your community.

Lieut.-Colonel Lee Graves

Divisional Commander – Ontario Great Lakes
