MOLLY MAID Launches National Coat Drive in Partnership with The Salvation Army.
OAKVILLE, Jan. 29 /CNW/ – MOLLY MAID and its customers are pleased to be partnering with The Salvation Army in an effort to collect new and gently used coats this winter. During the months of January and February, MOLLY MAID customers are encouraged to participate in the MOLLY MAID Cares Coat Drive to help supply warm coats to the vulnerable and marginalized throughout Canada.

Winter came early this year and hit most regions across the country particularly hard. Thousands of Canadians who call the streets home rely on warm clothing and the services of The Salvation Army to help protect them from the cold during the winter months.

“We have the unique opportunity to collect donated garments when we are servicing our customers’ homes,” says Aaron Abrams with MOLLY MAID’s Head Office in Oakville, ON. “We are excited to be able to partner with The Salvation Army on what we feel is a very important initiative. Franchises across the country have confirmed their participation to take part and are helping put warm coats on those in need this winter.”

”We are extremely grateful to MOLLY MAID for their interest in the work of The Salvation Army,” says Graham Moore, Territorial Secretary for Public Relations and Development for The Salvation Army Canada and Bermuda. “Their efforts in collecting coats will go a long way towards supporting Canada’s homeless by helping to keep them warm and dry this winter.”
