Human trafficking is a global problem that has local implications for the people of Newfoundland and Labrador.  The Salvation Army is active around the world on this issue and is honoured to share information about an upcoming event that aims to “educate and inform the community about Human Trafficking and the partnerships essential to address this modern day form of slavery.”

The Newfoundland Coalition Against Human Trafficking Inc. is hosting a conference to raise awareness about human trafficking in Newfoundland and Labrador.  The conference will be held at the Capital Hotel in St. John’s on April 7 – 9, 2014.
