NL East Regional Youth Band and Chorus – NewFound Brass

The Newfoundland & Labrador Divisional Headquarters are proud to support to reformation of NewFound Brass and Chorus.

Back in October 2016, the Newfoundland East Regional Youth Band began its first season since 2010. This group initially started back in 1996 under the leadership of Randy Hale and Marlene Stanley. The group played a pivotal role in the spiritual and musical development of young Salvationist in the Newfoundland East Area. Up until 2010, NewFound Brass held firm to its mission and proved to be a unique program that benefited the various musical sections of the local Corps in the NL East area.

Yes, we are a youth band and we strive for a high standard. However, our focus is the spiritual development of our members. We see our members as future leaders and we want to create a space where these young people can meet up, have fun, play some great music, and most importantly, sharpen their commitment to Christ through prayer, bible study, service, relationships and celebration.

Everyone is welcome to attend their concert and show your support on March 25th, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at the St. John’s Citadel Corps on 25 Adam’s Avenue.
