The Help 2 Others (H2O) Fund assists low-income households in Halifax with the cost of residential water and wastewater in an emergency situation if eligible guidelines are met. A household is determined to be in an emergency situation when there are no resources to pay the Halifax Water bill and/or the household is about to face disconnection of water service.
This program is funded by Halifax Water, and its employees, and administrated by The Salvation Army.
The H2O Fund is now open for the 2020/2021 season.
