Halifax, NS December 14, 2020 – Mayor Mike Savage has officially declared December 14-18, 2020 as Salvation Army Week throughout Halifax to encourage all citizens to recognize the significant impact The Salvation Army has made and continues to make in supporting vulnerable individuals

“We are so grateful for this declaration,” says Major Jamie Locke, divisional director of public relations and development. “This is a time for us to thank the city of Halifax for their support this past year while showing the need is still present in our city,”
