The Salvation Army Lakeview Manor Nursing Home is owned and operated by The Salvation Army and meets the provincial standards of the New Brunswick government.

Lakeview Manor, at 50 Suffolk Street, Riverview, was officially opened on May 27, 1982 by Commissioner John D. Waldron, Territorial Commander for Canada & Bermuda. This is the successor of The Eventide Home for Men which The Salvation Army operated as a nursing home at 245 Church Street in Moncton. It is our hope that by mutual endeavor, the Manor will be comfortable, attractive, and a cheerful, Christian atmosphere will be maintained.

We are a 50-bed, Level 3, Nursing Home accredited with The Salvation Army. The majority of the rooms are double rooms. A Registered Nurse is on duty 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Plus there are other supportive care staff that meet the staffing standards of the New Brunswick Government.

Lakeview Manor follows a resident-focused philosophy. This is accomplished by a team approach to enhance the quality of life for each resident medically, physically, socially, spiritually and psychologically to the fullest of his/her capabilities. Thus, with resident and staff working together with mutual respect and consideration, we know you will find Lakeview Manor welcoming, safe and home-like.
