At our November 2018 Remembrance Day service, one of our own, William Balser Sr, was recognized with a prestigious award from the Government of France for his service overseas during WW11.  Lakeview Manor currently has 2 other residents who are veterans.   In attendance were several other military personnel from different branches of the military.

Our volunteers are a valuable asset to Lakeview Manor and cheerfully help out in many areas from cooking classes, exercises, bus trips, calling out bingo, chapel services, Community Council, and mainly being with our residents one-on-one to read or just talk.
