The Salvation Army South Africa has taken the Internet phenomenon of guessing the colour of a dress to ask a serious question about domestic violence: \u201cWhy is it so hard to see black and blue?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n The Salvation Army hopes its advertisement will encourage those experiencing violence and those witnessing it to speak out as this\u00a0<\/span>is not about The Salvation Army, it\u2019s about the social issue.<\/span><\/p>\n Under the main headline, it reads: \u201cIt\u2019s only an illusion if you think it was her choice. One in 6 women are victims of abuse.
