{"id":1669,"date":"2012-03-05T17:59:27","date_gmt":"2012-03-05T17:59:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/salvationarmy.ca\/britishcolumbia\/high-point-community-church-has-a-new-look\/"},"modified":"2025-05-26T11:25:36","modified_gmt":"2025-05-26T11:25:36","slug":"high-point-community-church-has-a-new-look","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/salvationarmy.ca\/britishcolumbia\/2012\/03\/05\/high-point-community-church-has-a-new-look\/","title":{"rendered":"High Point Community Church has a new look."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>100 years ago a church opened on the corner of Raynor Street and Fullerton Avenue, with the goal and hope to serve the community.<\/p>\n<p>15 years ago, it was renamed High PointCommunity Church and began housing The Salvation Army.\u00a0\u00a0Since the time of the original Church first being opened, the building has undergone many renovations, with the most recent finally being completed. On February 26<sup>th<\/sup>High Point celebrated this feat with a grand re-opening.\u00a0\u00a0About 120 people came to celebrate with Lieutenants Peter and Alison Lublink.\u00a0 After the conclusion of the service, there was an opportunity to tour the new space as well as to connect with friends, family and neighbours.<\/p>\n<p>The updated space features an amazing Sunday School &amp; Nursery area, new office complex, an upgraded auditorium space that includes a revamped stage, coffee bar, cafe seating and art gallery.<\/p>\n<p>We would like to thank everyone who came to celebrate and everyone who helped with the space\u2019s transformation!
