About the event

The Salvation Army BC Division will once again be at the start line of Canada’s largest 10K race, the Vancouver Sun Run.  On April 23, 2017, participants are encouraged to layer up the clothing items and then at the start line, peel off and toss those layers to Salvation Army volunteers who will be present. These clothing items will then be donated to The Salvation Army Thrift Stores. 

 ​The funds raised by the Thrift Stores support many local commnitiy inituatives including food banks, shelters, rehabilitation and much more!
