London Drugs presented a donation to the Salvation Army on Friday, March 22nd for $19,521.06 The funds were raised from the London Drugs Facebook Like Campaign which contributed $15,000 with the remainder donated from Moneris pinpads available at select London Drugs locations to assist with Kettle donations.
In 2012, London Drugs furthered their support of the Salvation Army with the Facebook Like Campaign. The program began with a $5,000 amount but was steadily increased to $15,000 as online support continued to grow for the viral campaign.
“We were thrilled London Drugs increased their involvement in our 2012 giving program,” says Major Ken Ritson of The Salvation Army British Columbia. “There are thousands of individuals and families who depend on the Salvation Army for much needed food, clothing and social support. We are grateful for the continued support of London Drugs.”
Thank You to London Drugs for supporting the work we do and by helping to provide Hope today, and everyday.
