Project Winter Survival Donation.
For the past 13 years, Project Winter Survival and their team of volunteers & donors have assembled and distributed over 15,000 winter Survival Kits. These kits provide warmth and essential supplies needed for the homeless and less fortunate to survive on the streets.
Last year over 11,000 requests for these life saving kits were received from agencies that help the homeless. Our goal this year is to assemble and distribute more than 3000 kits to over 100 front line agencies, which this year has included, The Salvation Army. These kits will serve to assist those most vulnerable.
Through the generous support of Hain-Celestial Canada – Project Winter Survival will be able to help those who need a hand up in Vancouver. The survival Kits will be packed by volunteers at the Hain-Celestial Offices in Delta, and then picked up for distribution by The Salvation Army.
The Project Winter Survival Kits contain 30 essential items including, a backpack, personal care products, warm winter accessories, and other valuable necessities.
Thank you to all involved for supporting The Salvation Army and our efforts by supplying us with 48 kits to share with those in need!
