The Annual Coast Hotels & Resorts Golf Classic hit it’s 10th anniversary milestone on July 12th raising a remarkable $50,000 for the Salvation Army. 130 hospitality industry suppliers, managers and supporters left their suits behind to sport their most fashionable golf attire in support of a good cause.

“The ability to bring our suppliers, guests, and partners together to be able to give back so generously is very rewarding and demonstrates our commitment to supporting the communities where we do business” said Robert Pratt, president of Coast Hotels & Resorts. Raising funds for the Salvation Army allows Coast Hotels to earmark where the funds will be spent, enabling the hotel brand to donate to all communities where they do business.

“Congratulations to Coast Hotels & Resorts on an extremely successful 10th Annual Golf Tournament. The donations received by The Salvation Army will provide a major boost and support to our local ministry units throughout BC and Alberta. We want to say thank you to everyone who donated and are helping support The Salvation Army and the people we assist!” shared Major Ken Ritson, Divisional Secretary for Public Relations and Development for The Salvation Army in British   Columbia.
