The Spirit of Christmas Giving
A wonderful kettle story to share from this year’s Christmas campaign coming from Langley, BC.
“A man stood outside The Real Canadian Superstore for 10 minutes this morning (December 24th) handing out money – $10 bills to everyone! So quite a few, donated their $10 by putting it in The Salvation Army Christmas Kettle. You’ll find some with a note stuck to them.”
– Emma (Kettle Volunteer)
The note of the $10 bills reads:
“Good will to you with a light lunch on me! Consider the possibilities if next year we all made a difference in some small way to someone we don’t know. The experience will become a lasting memory. Merry Christmas – Rick”
Thank you to all who donated in one way or another towards supporting the work of The Salvation Army this Christmas season.
