Serving up Christmas spirit

Serving up generosity this season are Bob and Shaun Miller.  Owners of Miller’s Place Restaurant in Port Alberni, they hosted a Christmas dinner for clients of The Salvation Army.  A wonderful meal welcomed approximately 50 people – specifically focusing on those who otherwise, would be alone at Christmas time. 

Miller’s Place Restaurant orchestrated the entire meal and even went so far as to close the restaurant for the evening to accommodate the invited guests.

In addition, a member of the Miller family distributed handmades Christmas ornaments as gifts for each and every one of the guests.  It was decided that that was how the Miller family wanted to give back to the community and those in need this season, and for that … we thank them for their kindness and spirit.
