North Vancouver hosted Community Dignity Day on March 16th to serve the local North Shore neighbourhood.

With The Salvation Army’s New Hope Cuisine preparing and serving breakfast for 70 and lunch for 120, the turnout was not only incredibly encouraging, but the kitchen did a fantastic job in accommodating everyone served.

Thank you to all supporters of the day including, The Salvation Army, Mali’s Hair Salon, Vancouver Coastal Health, North Van Rec and H&R Block for providing free hair cuts, foot baths, red socks, shoes, flu shots, free income tax returns and vouchers to Salvation Army Thrift Stores.

Truly a day that saw dignity restored.
