Yorkton Flood Assistance: Update 2

A week after heavy rains forced 175 people from their homes and flooded roughly 1,000 basements iin Yorkton, Sask., Salvation Army emergency relief teams continue to provide assistance. This includes food, clean-up kits, clothes and spiritual and emotional care.

As a result of the overwhelming generosity from the community, clothing donations are being dropped off in abundance at a clothing depot.

Temporary pastors, Envoys Roy and Rose Bladen, arrived in Yorkton on July 9 and will remain for the next seven weeks.
