The Salvation Army believes that every child deserves to unwrap a new toy of their own on Christmas morning.

From November 17 to December 7 more than 200 staff at The Salvation Army’s national headquarters in Toronto collected 2,486 food and 807 toy items to be distributed to those less fortunate over the Christmas season.

Many people find themselves on hard times during Christmas. It is The Salvation Army’s privilege to help more than 100,000 people in the GTA every year.
