Santa Shuffles for Families

Sudbury – It was a cold and windy morning, but that did little to deter Shannon and Erin Duguay from getting into the Christmas spirit.

The two were at Science North on Saturday for the annual Salvation Army Santa Shuffle, their third time participating in the five-kilometre fun run and one-kilometre Elf walk.

“(Erin) will be running very quickly, and I will be walking very slowly,” Shannon Duguay said, waiting inside for the shuffle to begin.

“It’s fun and it’s not terribly competitive,” she added, laughing. “It’s for such a great cause at a great time of year.”
