Salvation Army Celebrates 10 Years Helping Homeless

Calgary -The Salvation Army’s Centre of Hope has been open for 10 years, and the homeless shelter’s staff and clients marked the occasion by celebrating all those who have been helped.
An estimated 30,000 clients have cycled through the shelter since 2001. “This place saved my life,” said Ali Bakhshizadeh, 47.
“I was in bad shape when I came here.”
