We are looking for an energetic & highly organized manager to provide leadership to our Women’s Integrated Supportive Housing Program (WISH). The program is located on a small campus in the SW community of Killarney where we also have a number of other programs for children, families and adults.

Here's how you will contribute to the program:    

  • Developing, implementing and evaluating program services
  • Researching program possibilities and best practices
  • Ensuring programs are fully staffed with qualified staff and that staff have the resources to do their job
  • Developing, monitoring, and controlling the annual budget of the residential programs
  • Demonstrating diligent stewardship of resources
  • Maintaining and promoting a positive image of The Salvation Army through providing a high caliber of professional service and by dealing with staff, the public and other professionals in a courteous and professional manner


What you need to get an interview:

  • University degree in a related field; an alternative level of education and experience may be accepted
  • 3 - 5 years of prior related experience, including management, in non-profit environment, preferably working with a marginalized population
  • Excellent communication, team building, organization and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability in program planning, development and evaluation
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft applications
  • Satisfactory Police Information Check and Child Intervention Check
