This is a casual position posting only.


  • Be an Ambassador for The Salvation Army when dealing with the public. Represent the organization in a professional manner.
  • Assist co-workers and supervisors as work demands in a polite and professional manner.
  • Handle donations with knowledge and care.
  • Be aware of your surroundings; be alert to security and safety issues.
  • Strive towards being a fast and thorough worker in all aspects of your job.
  • Keep the store clean, tidy and organized as needed and as per schedule.


  • Good people skills.
  • Knowledge of fashion and collectibles.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Be strong and healthy to work at a physically demanding job.
  • Lifting ability up to 50 lbs.
  • Cleaning experience.
  • Proven good attendance record.
  • Have an understanding of The Salvation Army’s purpose and mission statement.
  • Must have a positive, professional and energetic disposition.
  • Must be able to be compassionate yet firm when dealing with organization policies and customers.
