Distribution and Recycling Center (DRC) Coordinator

The Salvation Army is a Christian based organization. National Recycling Operations – Thrift Stores adhere to its core values of integrity, respect, honesty, compassion and dignity. NRO supports The Salvation Army by recycling and selling donated goods which generate funds in support of its social service programs within our communities.

As a Distribution and Recycling Center (DRC) Coordinator you are responsible for supervising and monitoring the coordination of logistics and distribution for the Distribution and Recycling Centre. As a result you will help develop planned performance improvements and projects. You will also support the National Distribution Manager’s focus on more targeted areas within the Distribution and Recycling Centre operations as well as executive issues and responsibilities. You will provide back–up to ensure proper coverage of Distribution and Recycling Centre operations when the National Distribution Manager is unavailable.

Our ideal candidate will have 2 or more years of experience in Logistics Management or equivalent education and experience in warehouse and distribution management. You are proficient in MS Office Suite and Lotus Notes including advanced skills in Microsoft Excel. You possess proven people skills and the ability to communicate professionally. You are a superior communicator who thrives on building relationships while maintaining their composure at all times. You adapt to new processes quickly and are action oriented, with exceptional time management skills.
