Responsibilities

OPPORTUNITY:

The Divisional Finance Secretary is a management position responsible for all finance related issues for divisional headquarters and all divisional ministry units. This position has the primary responsibility for the development, implementation of and adherence to all budgets within the division. This includes liaising with Ministry Units and Territorial Headquarters regarding all finance matters; providing oversight and recommendations for Divisional Headquarters and Ministry Unit budgets; monitoring financial position of Ministry Units and Divisional Headquarters and report to Divisional Boards; and providing financial information for Divisional Boards to aid in sound financial decision making.

Qualifications

Education:

Post-secondary education in business, finance or administration. CPA designation preferred.

Experience:

Minimum of five years of progressively responsible finance management experience with a familiarity with non-profit, fund, and branch accounting.
