About the Position

Under the guidance and direction of the Director, Territorial Compensation COE, acts as a fully proficient contributor and uses demonstrated, proficient knowledge of functional area / HR and acquired skills to carry out specific responsibilities, resolve escalations, or develop appropriate solutions.  Works autonomously within established policies and procedures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Scope of functions and services include but are not limited to:

  • Compensation, including job evaluation and job architecture.
  • Performance assessment
  • Recognition
  • Communications including participation in the assessment and development of training.
  • Evaluation of programs including analysis of trends, costs, industry practices, and employee preferences.
  • Partnering with Vendors and Advisors on interventions to resolve escalations.
  • Influencing and collaborating with others to resolve complex issues and support change.
  • Maintaining standards and implementing or updating systems and procedures.
  • Contributing to the creation of team and organizational priorities, and budgets, including the Territorial Management Board’s annual fiscal strategy.
  • Regulatory compliance, including legislation and regulations that affects policies and practices.
  • Recommending opportunities for improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • University degree in a relevant field (e.g., HR, Business, Mathematics) with exposure to analytical / statistical / numerical techniques and methodologies
  • Working toward Certified Compensation Professional (CCP)
  • Requires demonstrated related experience (3 - 5 years), requiring proficient knowledge of functional area, and a general knowledge of other major HR functions.
  • Advanced quantitative, research, data analytics, reporting and Microsoft Office skills.

Compensation

The target hiring range for this position is $58,719-$73,399, with the ability to progress to a maximum of $88,079. Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions, internal equity, and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
