Position Description
The Admin and Event Coordinator leads and coordinates all administrative duties and coordinates special events/fundraisers at the unit.
Responsibilities
- Process and approve regular invoices.
- Receive, deposit, and receipt donations.
- Responsible for payroll and benefits administration.
- Record keeping and file updating.
- Provide customer services.
- Perform administrative tasks as required.
- Assist in the planning, facilitating, and coordination of special events.
- Coordinate Christmas Kettle Fundraiser.
- Assist in recruitment and orientation of volunteers.
- Maintain social media presence.
- Update ministry website.
- Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications

Education/certifications
- Post-secondary education in business administration/ event planning.
Experience
- Experience in business administration/event planning
Required skills/knowledge
- Organizing skills.
- Customer service orientation.
- Basic computer literacy.
Hours
- 8.30 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. Monday – Friday.
Successful candidates, prior to hiring, may be required to provide:

- First Aid training certification.
