Denise is one of over 130,000 people who, each year, give their skills and time to help The Salvation Army provide the services that we offer.

The Salvation Army offers several hospice programs in Canada that give comfort and care to patients and families during the end of life. Denise is a volunteer at the Regina Wascana Grace Hospice.

“Volunteering has changed the way I live,” says Denise. “Visiting with patients and their families is a constant reminder to live my life in a state of gratitude and take nothing for granted.”
