On Saturday Dec. 7, in 39 cities across Canada, approximately 16,000 runners braved the cold, winter weather to participate in The Salvation Army’s Santa Shuffle 5K Fun Run & 1K Elf Walk.

Thank you to everyone who ran, walked, donated or volunteered for this amazing event. Your support will help The Salvation Army offer practical and meaningful support to vulnerable Canadians.

The Shuffle is held annually, in partnership with The Running Room, to raise funds for Salvation Army social and community services programs. This year, the run raised over $500,000 to assist those in need during the Christmas season and throughout the year.
