salvationarmy_haiti_61As The Salvation Army continues to provide relief to victims of the earthquake in Haiti, donations made by individual Canadians to The Salvation Army from January 12 to February 12, 2010, will be matched by the Government of Canada.

The Salvation Army in Canada and Bermuda has committed an initial $100,000 USD to the relief effort and a fundraising campaign is in place to support the humanitarian response. We continue to work with The Salvation Army’s International Headquarters as we will do whatever we can to help the victims of this terrible disaster.

Please support The Salvation Army’s relief effort in Haiti. Financial contributions can be made by calling 1-800-SAL-ARMY (725-2769), by donating online, by texting ‘Haiti’ to 45678 from your Rogers Wireless, Telus, Bell Mobility and Virgin Mobility cell phone, by mailing donations to:

The Salvation Army Territorial Headquarters, Canada and Bermuda,
2 Overlea Blvd., Toronto, Ontario M4H 1P4,

or dropping off financial donations at the closest Salvation Army unit in your area. Donors should specify their gift to the Haiti Earthquake Disaster Relief Fund.
