Coming Together to Help Cuba Fight COVID-19

COVID-19 has created devastating social and economic crises in Cuba, especially in the larger cities.
As the disease spread through communities like Holguin and Havana, The Salvation Army in Canada mobilized quickly to help those most affected. Through generous donations, we were able to provide the necessary funds to the local Salvation Army in Cuba so they could give much-needed food, cleaning supplies, and personal care items to more than 200 vulnerable families.
Our team at The Salvation Army in the Latin American North Territory reports, “Cuba was blessed with this project. Because of it, we were able to provide prompt help to the communities most affected by this pandemic.”
