Commissioners Floyd and Tracey Tidd, serving as territorial leaders in Australia, have been appointed to the Canada and Bermuda Territory, with Commissioner Floyd Tidd as the Territorial Commander and Commissioner Tracey Tidd as the Territorial President of Women’s Ministries.

“We look forward to the opportunity to serve in our home territory and anticipate all that God has in mind to do in and through us in the new appointment,” says Commissioner Floyd Tidd.

During their time in Australia, Commissioners Tidd served as leaders of the then Australia Southern Territory, before being appointed as national leaders to oversee the merger of the Australia Eastern and Australia Southern Territories into one Australia Territory. That process ended in December last year when the new Australia Territory was officially launched, with the Tidds becoming the first territorial leaders.

The Tidds will assume their new roles in Canada on October 1, 2019, replacing Commissioner Susan McMillan, who concludes her service in these roles. Commissioner McMillan will take on new responsibilities with the business section of The Salvation Army’s International Headquarters.
