During the March school break, The Salvation Army Community Church in Sherbrooke, Quebec welcomed 20 children, including nine teens, to its Spring Break Day Camp for five days of learning, creativity, and fun.

Discovering God<\/strong>
Each day, campers engaged in short faith-based videos, Bible study, mission stories, songs, and creative projects, giving children the chance to express themselves while learning about God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Growing Together<\/strong>
Every child brought something unique to the group, whether calm or energetic, outgoing or reserved. These differences created a rich and dynamic environment filled with meaningful interactions, shared laughter, and moments of growth. Over the week, friendships formed, confidence grew, and participants learned the value of cooperation and respect.

Teen Leaders Making a Difference<\/strong>
A group of dedicated teenagers from the church played a key role throughout the week. They supported activities, reassured younger children, and helped create a welcoming atmosphere for everyone. In the process, they strengthened their leadership, teamwork, and mentoring skills\u2014an experience that was just as meaningful for them as it was for the younger participants.

Fun & Excitement<\/strong>
The program balanced learning with plenty of fun and movement. A special outing to Laser Plus (laser tag and mini\u2011putt) gave everyone a chance to relax and enjoy themselves together. Daily games and physical activities kept energy levels high, and the week wrapped up on a delicious note with a pizza lunch and sundae celebration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Powered by Community<\/strong>
This camp was made possible thanks to the incredible support of church members who generously helped with financial needs, meals, games, technology, equipment transport, and cleanup. Their behind\u2011the\u2011scenes contributions ensured that everything ran smoothly and demonstrated the strength of working together toward a shared goal.

A Meaningful Experience<\/strong>
By the end of the week, participants left with positive memories and a sense of belonging. The Spring Break Day Camp was more than just a program, it was a shared experience that encouraged curiosity, personal growth, and community connection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Semaine de d\u00e9couverte, de cr\u00e9ativit\u00e9 et d\u2019\u00e9change<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Pendant la semaine de rel\u00e2che, l\u2019\u00e9glise communautaire de l\u2019Arm\u00e9e du Salut \u00e0 Sherbrooke a accueilli 20 jeunes, dont neuf adolescents, dans le cadre d\u2019un camp de jour ax\u00e9 sur l\u2019apprentissage, la cr\u00e9ativit\u00e9 et le divertissement.

D\u00e9couvrir Dieu<\/strong>
Chaque jour, les jeunes ont regard\u00e9 de br\u00e8ves vid\u00e9os ax\u00e9es sur la foi, pris part \u00e0 des s\u00e9ances d\u2019\u00e9tude biblique, entendu des t\u00e9moignages sur la mission, chant\u00e9 des chansons et particip\u00e9 \u00e0 des projets cr\u00e9atifs. Ils ont \u00e9galement eu l\u2019occasion de s\u2019exprimer et d\u2019apprendre \u00e0 conna\u00eetre Dieu.

S\u2019\u00e9panouir ensemble<\/strong>
Chaque jeune a apport\u00e9 quelque chose d\u2019unique au groupe, selon sa personnalit\u00e9 : calme, \u00e9nergique, gr\u00e9gaire ou r\u00e9serv\u00e9. Ces diff\u00e9rences ont contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 cr\u00e9er un environnement convivial et dynamique, propice aux \u00e9changes, aux rires et \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9panouissement. Pendant cinq jours, des amiti\u00e9s se sont form\u00e9es, la confiance s\u2019est accrue et les participants ont appris l\u2019importance de la collaboration et du respect.

Les adolescents changent la dynamique<\/strong>
Un groupe d\u2019adolescents d\u00e9vou\u00e9s qui fr\u00e9quentent l\u2019\u00e9glise ont jou\u00e9 un r\u00f4le important pendant le camp. Ils ont soutenu les activit\u00e9s, rassur\u00e9 les plus jeunes et contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 cr\u00e9er une atmosph\u00e8re invitante pour tous. Ce faisant, ils ont renforc\u00e9 leur leadership, leur travail en \u00e9quipe et leurs aptitudes en mati\u00e8re d\u2019encadrement \u2014 une exp\u00e9rience aussi enrichissante pour eux que pour les jeunes participants.

Un programme amusant et emballant<\/strong>
Le programme du camp de jour \u00e9tait ax\u00e9 sur l\u2019apprentissage, le divertissement et les activit\u00e9s physiques. Une sortie \u00e0 Laser Plus (jeu de poursuite laser et minigolf) a permis aux participants de se d\u00e9tendre et de s\u2019amuser ensemble. Des activit\u00e9s physiques et des jeux quotidiens ont contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 maintenir un bon niveau d\u2019\u00e9nergie chez les jeunes, et la semaine s\u2019est termin\u00e9e par un d\u00e9licieux repas compos\u00e9 de pizza et d\u2019une coupe glac\u00e9e pour dessert.

Le soutien de la congr\u00e9gation<\/strong>
Le camp de jour a \u00e9t\u00e9 rendu possible gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l\u2019incroyable soutien des membres de l\u2019\u00e9glise et \u00e0 leur g\u00e9n\u00e9reuse contribution aux besoins financiers, aux repas, aux activit\u00e9s, au mat\u00e9riel technologique, au transport et au nettoyage. Leur travail dans les coulisses a contribu\u00e9 au bon d\u00e9roulement du camp de jour et prouv\u00e9 la force qui d\u00e9coule de la collaboration.

Une exp\u00e9rience enrichissante<\/strong>
\u00c0 la fin de la semaine, les participants sont repartis avec de beaux souvenirs et un sentiment d\u2019appartenance. Le camp de jour a \u00e9t\u00e9 non seulement un programme d\u2019activit\u00e9s, mais aussi une exp\u00e9rience partag\u00e9e visant \u00e0 stimuler la curiosit\u00e9, la croissance personnelle et l\u2019\u00e9tablissement de relations.

Nous avons h\u00e2te de tirer profit de l\u2019\u00e9nergie qui a \u00e9man\u00e9 du camp et d\u2019accueillir les familles dans le cadre de futurs programmes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
