The Salvation Army’s Glenmore Temple Band got gussied up to take part in the 107th Calgary Stampede Parade. Dusting off their Stetsons, and boots, the band braved the cold and rain to mosey by the hundreds of thousands of people who attended the annual parade.

The Glenmore Temple band looks forward to the Stampede Parade, every year and has the honour of being the longest participating band in the Calgary Stampede Parade, having only been absent from three parades in 107 years.

The Glenmore Temple Band is made up of 36 volunteer musicians ranging in age from 13 to 80 years, coming from a wide range of occupations and professions, such as high school and university students to teachers, engineers, accountants and business managers to name a few.
