On Friday, May 10th The Salvation Army in Edmonton served up delicious homemade soup in Sir Winston Churchill Square to raise awareness of what The Salvation Army is doing to combat hunger in this city. Recent studies indicate that over 900,000 Canadians visit a food bank each month and we believe no one should have to go hungry. The Salvation Army served more than 2.8 million meals last year to people in need across our country.
